We come measure
Free, no pressure. We walk the roofline, test your outlet, and hand you a written quote the same day.
- Step 2
You pick a date
Half down to schedule, balance when it's lit. We build your strands to fit your house exactly.
- Step 3
We install
Usually one day. Clip-on fasteners, hidden cords, and a timer that turns it on at dusk by itself.
- Step 4
We take it down
First two weeks of January, already in the price. Everything comes back coiled and labeled by section.
What's in the price
Everything. There is no second invoice.
- Commercial-grade C9 LED bulbs cut to your roofline, not store-bought strings with slack hanging off the end.
- All clips, wire, connectors and a dusk timer. You buy nothing and drive nowhere.
- A bulb goes out, we come fix it. Free, all season, however many times.
- Takedown in January, then the lights are yours: coiled, labeled, in a tote. They're yours.
- 1A plastic clip grips the tile edge or gutter lip.
- 2Nothing is screwed, nailed or drilled into your house.
- 3In January it all unclips. No marks, no holes, no cracked tile.

We keep routes tight so a service call is same-day, not next week. Outside these areas, call anyway. If we can get to you, we will.
I learned this trade helping run my dad's business in Lawrence, Kansas.
Who we are
I'm an ASU student from Kansas City. Before Tempe, I helped run my dad's company, Strahm Lawns, a landscaping and lighting business in Lawrence. He has more than twenty years of hands-on experience, and everything I know about this work, I learned from him.
He oversees this operation too. Same standard, now in the Valley: measured rooflines, tidy cords, nothing nailed to your house, and a phone number that gets answered.

Questions
The things people ask before booking.
Will this damage my roof or my tile?
No. Everything is clip-on. Nothing is nailed, screwed or drilled. We photograph your roof before we start, hang everything from ladders using clips made for tile, and never walk on a tile roof.
Do I own the lights?
Yes. They're yours. After the season we take them down, coil them, label every strand by section, and hand them back in a tote.
What if a section goes out in December?
Call us and we come out. Free, as many times as it takes, for as long as the lights are up.
Do you do the electrical?
No. We plug into an existing exterior outlet and set a timer. If your home needs a new outlet or circuit, we'll tell you and point you to a licensed electrician.
When should I book?
Now. Book by October 15 and save 15% on your install. Installs run from the first of November through mid-December, and the good dates go first.
Can I keep them up past January?
We take down the first two weeks of January. If you want a later date, tell us when you book and we'll schedule it.
What colors can I get?
Anything in our supplier's catalog: warm white, cool white, red, green, blue, purple, orange, multicolor, and patterns like candy cane or your team's colors. Warm white is the classic and the most popular; cool white is crisper and more modern. Tap the colors under the photo at the top to preview a few.
What's the warranty?
10 years on the bulbs and socket wire, backed by the manufacturer. If a bulb or a run of wire fails, we replace it. The timer isn't covered.
How much does it cost?
Custom lighting starts at $850. Every house is different, so we measure in person, for free, and give you a written, fixed quote before you pay anything. Half down to schedule, the rest when it's lit.
Do you light businesses too?
Yes. Holiday rooflines for storefronts and offices, and year-round LED lighting in your brand colors.
What does it cost to run?
Very little. C9 LEDs draw under a watt each, so a full roofline runs off one outlet for a few dollars over the whole season.
